Plataforma Boliviana Frente al Cambio Climático
The Plataforma Boliviana Frente al Cambio Climático (PBFCC by its Spanish acronym) is a national network created in 2009 that brings together more than 58 social organizations, institutions, and civil society groups in Bolivia. Its purpose is to contribute to the defense of Mother Earth and the strengthening of the human, economic, social, and environmental rights of indigenous peoples, women, youth, and popular sectors, from a perspective of climate justice, social equity, and gender equality.
The PBFCC works as a space for coordination and political advocacy in the face of national and international climate change processes, promoting collective proposals that foster a just transition, food sovereignty, and alternatives to the extractivist model.
