Two Delegations at COP28

The Hanns Seidel Foundation (HSF) is implementing a cross-sectoral global project on mitigation and adaptation to climate change (GMACC). Against the backdrop that the HSF is implementing projects in over 70 countries worldwide and many of them are working in the field of mitigation and adaptation to climate change, the aim of GMACC is to strengthen HSF’s project partners from civil society worldwide by information transition and empowerment to raise their voice on international platforms.

The delegation trip comprises a key activity of the GMACC project through which partners from civil society are enabled to attend the 28th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28) and to make an impact not only as an individual representing civil society but also as a group of likeminded representing different regions of the global south.

The two delegations - one will participate in the 1st week of COP28 and the second will participate in the 2nd week of COP28 - will consist of partners from El Salvador, Bolivia, Colombia, Tunesia, Kenia, Zimbabwe, Ghana, Djibouti, Korea, India and Mongolia.
