Projects and events in December 2023

In the last few months of 2023,  the Global Sustainability Network has participated in, as well as organized educational and informative project and events. Here is a summary of those:

Fostering Global Climate Talent: Towards Mainstreaming Climate Action Initiatives

On 1 December, the HSF Global Project for Mitigation and Adaptation to Climate Change (GMACC) had the opportunity to be part of a panel discussion on 'Fostering Global Climate Talent: Towards Mainstreaming Climate Action Initiatives', facilitated by the Kookmin University and Hanns Seidel Foundation, Korea at the Korean Pavilion at COP28. Dr. Lara Beer, Head of Project of GMACC, shared insights on the capacity building component of GMACC as well as internship and scholarship opportunities at HSF offices worldwide.

1st Pre-COP28 workshop

The 1st pre-COP28 workshop has been implemented successfully. Today, the delegates of the GMACC and MENA delegation met to prepare for the themes and negotiations of the 1st week of COP28 in Dubai.

COP28 at Expo City Dubai

On the 1st of December, all our delegates have finally arrived in Dubai. Our delegation is complete now. The badges have been collected and the first events of COP28 have been attended. We are all very much impressed of the stunning venue at Expo City Dubai and we are looking forward to the next days at COP28 in Dubai.
